Last night, our friend, Dean, took me out to all-you-can-eat sushi buffet and I stuffed myself to the point of an allergic reaction to the soy sauce. It wasn't anything extreme; just plugged sinuses for a few hours and well worth it. I came home and found a box of chocolate and a Valentines card from our next door neighbor Pat. She is a southern woman who is an amazing cook and of a very generous heart. After futzing on the computer for an hour, Bob and I retired downstairs to bed, crawled in with our chocolate and watched TV until 3am.
At 10:30 this morning, Bob decided enough was enough, and I had to get out of bed immediately to tend to his outdoor needs. I accomplished so many errands today that had been neglected for far too long. I took Bob along for the ride as he loves riding around with me in the car and watching the world pass by. Every time I start the car, he cocks his head and looks at the ignition as if it were a brand new experience. We also made a trip to the vet where he got some blood work done, which came back a-ok and a refill on his Rymadil, medicine for his arthritis. He's doing pretty good for a 12 year old.
Tonight I am taking Mickey, Ricky and Tommy out to PF Changs for dinner. More soy sauce. This time I will be armed with Afrin.
